Recipe Day! Five Spice Chicken

Five Spice Chicken

Serves 4

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Compliments canola oil
2 tsp Compliments honey
1 tsp Chinese five spice
½ tsp Pepper, black, freshly cracked
0.8 lb / 400 g Chicken breast, boneless, skinless

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients except chicken.

2. Leave chicken breast whole or cut into pieces and add to bowl, turning to coat well with marinate. Marinade in fridge for 5-10 minutes to develop flavor (can marinate longer if desired).

3. In a large non-stick skillet (oven proof if available) on high heat, add chicken and brown on each side. Do in batches if needed. Drain pan and return chicken to skillet or place on baking pan. Roast at 425° F for 20-30 minutes or until chicken is done.
