Bust a Move 2011 details revealed!

If you weren't already pumped for Bust a Move 2011, you will be now! Guess who the celebrity guest is? Here's a hint, she's sold over 30 million albums worldwide and was once a cheerleader with the Los Angeles Lakers. That's right, PAULA ABDUL is coming to Halifax to Bust a Move!  And that's not all you should be excited about.

Today at our official Bust a Move launch, we announced that Bust a Move will take place at the brand new state-of-the-art Canada Games Centre off Lacewood Drive. Bust a Move will be the first public event to take place in this facility, after the Canada Games.

We also announced an exciting new cause. This year, Bust a Move participants will raise funds for renovations needed to jumpstart the next phase of the world-class Breast Health Centre, which will be located on the main floor of the IWK Health Centre in Halifax. This new centre will offer one-stop care so patients can receive treatment in a comforting and all-inclusive care environment. This centre will bring together patient registration, support and counseling, diagnostic mammography, ultrasound units, procedures to locate tumours, and breast cancer surgery in one-location.

On March 26, 2011 we want to see you, the everyday hero, at the Canada Games Centre. Remember, you don't need to leap over tall buildings to be a superhero, you just need to Bust a Move.
